In today's online search environment, there are many browser options.  Turning safe search off on one browser does not means that it will be off in another.  Some users also complain that safe search does not remain off.  To fix this problem, use your Google account to lock your safe search settings.  A more simple solution is to use this site to ensure that safe search is off, no matter what type of browser you are using.



The safe search settings on your browser can only be turned off from within the Google Preferences page.  Changing these settings will only affect your search settings when using Google.  For example, if you are using Google Chrome, then you will need to visit the same preferences page from with Google Chrome.

1. From within any browser, search for Google Preferences (www.google.com/preferences)
